"Popped in for drinks the other night however after perusing the menu we decided to stay for dinner. We ordered the monkfish and the lobster mac and cheese and the food was not only amazing but piping hot too. I will say the food portions...are immense so advise you’re hungry before visiting. Only wish I’d starved myself prior to visiting! Staff are very friendly and very attentive which made the whole dining experience relaxing and enjoyable."

"Lovely friendly greetings on arrival to a clean fresh pub with good seating . The bar staff engaging and I noticed that one member of staff she was on a day off but still helped customers. I just wanted a cheese and tomato baguette which was not on the menu but they were happy to assist. My Husband had the brie and bacon baguette both on fresh tasty bread with fresh salad and lovely dressing. They were obviously freshly made and delicious. This pub is well worth a visit and hands down beats the expensive offering in the historical docks right next door. We would definitely recommend visiting. Thank you to the lovely staff for very enjoyable lunch"

"We ordered the lunch salad and the rita pizza, salat came without hummus (one of two main ingredients), which had to be asked, but was very delicious. the pizza was beautiful and thin and the plant cheese was a beautiful texture. soy or mandelmilch for the hot drinks was a plus"

"Very busy outside and a queue at the bar so I almost went elsewhere, anyway noticed the inside dining area was nearly empty. We took a table, browsed the menu , order taken and drinks delivered. Food came along shortly afterwards. So no queuing , and prompt service. The food was better than I had expected. We enjoyed Fish pie and Crab burger mains and just finished off with a coffee and mini Bakewell. I do like an Almond slice."
