"Boudin’s Bakery has been around since 1894. That’s a long time, and if you taste their food, you can realize what makes them one of the Bay Area’s favorite restaurants. I have been visiting them for almost 25-years now, and it has always been a good experience. Clam Chowder is their signature item, so definitely worth a try. For vegetarians, their Rustic Tomato soup is a good option- tasty and filling. They have plenty of good options to choose from, so don’t be surprised if you drift from one item to another before ordering. The secret is in their bread. Speaking of which, do take a peep into their bakery from the street side window, or the gallery upstairs. Four stars for today’s visit because even though they have restrooms upstairs for public use, the employee tried to direct me to public restroom across the parking lot. Why? I couldn’t understand! CAUTIONARY NOTE: if you are taking the food to outside seating, beware that when opening the doors, the air gust from the bay may just knock the food off the tray."

"Proof of vaccination is required for internal sitting. when they enter, they see a warm and cozy fire pit. their interior design and decorations are beautiful. there are also cutely decorated crawls that are individually painted and lined. everything we ordered was delicious. the award-winning crab knower was good! it's very good with his sour brot. I love it and recommend it very much! for rice lovers, you have to try their crabs. everything they included is just so good. their crumbs and garnel flickering were creamy and so delicious. all seafood were fresh and we enjoyed them. our staff was friendly and attentive. he said that they can park 2h if customers park on pier 39 parking garage. that is worth $20 on weekdays and $24 on weekdays."

"What kind of cluster we came to breakfast and the whole thing just felt... So you go to this place, and you just choose a place. then apparently you were to accept to grab your table number and go back to the door where the checkout was and make your order and advance payment. We chose our seat and someone brought us our utensils and napkins. We have to file our order. When we came back, they sat someone at our table? (not sure how they missed it, as they literally brought us our utensils and knew we were sitting there so that we and the person they were sitting at our table were confused. Our drinks took a while, although the place was not so busy. (It was also strange, there were many employees walking around to do things, how to put things in refrigerators and organize the place? but it also felt as if they were simultaneously substantiated as you had to make your order yourself and they asked for tips when you pay while no service was really offered? our food soon came after our drinks and oh boy it was a disappointment. I got the crab and avocado omelette... it was 90% avocado, the 't even really cut/display/sliced, it was just a hunk of avocado in the omelette. I had to look for the crab in the Omelette. I decided to upgrade fresh fruit... that was not really fresh, nor worth the charge. overall, save yourself. this place was too expensive, underoccupied, with bad organization / management. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend, and I would never come back."

"Went to get some lunch on a Saturday. If you want to get a view to the sea, I'd suggest to make a reservation it tends to get full. They also accept walk-ins in the back restaurant which is nice, you can either sit outside in the yard or inside.Ordered a claw chowder in sourdough bred which was tasty and good portion. Also ordered a truffle macaroni and cheese with lobster which was delicious!The service was not bad, we did wait some time to even get our orders because the waiters had to attend too many tables (so probably understaffed), but they were all really nice."

"One of my favorite SF Restaurants... located in Ghirardelli Square with spectacular views of the bay!! Relaxing ambiance and great service! Went here today after enjoying a matinee at Golden Gate Theater and it completed a fantastic day! Generous libations, delicious food and outstanding service. Our Server was Kim, and he was simply the best!!!! Would recommend this establishment wherever you want a laid-back, yet A-1 service and attention to detail!"
