"Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere, also very inviting. Went on a Friday evening. I believe the food selection is different on a Sunday but its a good idea to call and ask depending on what day it is, also good to check if booking is needed incase. During winter the weekly selection of food is varied so good idea to ask when calling. You can eat inside or out as plenty of space and the gardens are very well kept, the area inside to the back of the building is all glass and also a lovely area to eat in. Looking forward to going again as I recommend highly to all who haven't been yet."

"Managed to get a table sitting outside by the blossom trees to enjoy a sandwich and a coffee. Reasonable prices and good service. Clean toilets which is always important . I would definitely recommend if you're local."

"A beautiful old inn. the rooms are over two floors without elevator, so foreseeable if they have difficultities with the stairs. when we were there, the kitchens were closed in the evening by staff. the breakfast was cooked either continental or with a good choice for both. the full English was good. there are plenty of parking spaces, although it can be used by visitors, so can be busy too time."

"We had Sunday roast and it was delicious but took a while to come! We did have a large table though. We ordered chicken and fries for our toddlers but it didn't come as expected. It came as a roast dinner. Luckily our kids ate it! All very tasty. We had to keep standing up to order drinks and ask for the dessert menu and kids ice creams. Guys we're friendly but service very, very slow and nobody came over to ask if we neeeded anything etc Still would go back for Sunday roast but will ask for kids meal to come first due to the long wait. Thanks!"
