"Much improved since we stopped going there a year ago. I hated the fact that you couldn't sit where you wanted and had to wait to be seated. Thank goodness they ditched that idea. The staff were polite, attentive and helpful, really enjoyed the food too. Will definitely be back now the food and service has been fixed."

"Just got home from an excellent night out here catching up with old friends. We ate, drank and chatted all night. The atmosphere is very chilled, cosy and friendly. After eating we moved to sit next to the fire which added even further to the lovely ambience. Friendly staff, friendly patrons and definitely need to start using the pub more often as actually just around the corner from us. Note to the chef...you need to add the current 2 week special chicken sauté to the main menu it's absolutely gorgeous. So tasty and definitely coming back for more."

"I had booked a table for a late birthday meal for my older mother. When we arrived, we got one table really fast, although when other customers came, it was quite cold where we were sitting. the waitresses were very well asked if we had everything we wanted. the only thing I could say needs attention when booking the table there was a time span of 5:30 to 7:30, at the arrival we have there at 5:45 and got a look and comment about we had booked 5:30 but the staff was pleasant enough."
