"The cafe looks like a good old fashioned british cafe and it is. We came in early evening on a sunday and got fresh cooked fish and chips for four. It was cheap and tasty, and plenty of it, so no complaints. Staff were courteous and friendly."

"Most of the staff are lovely but I feel bad for anyone who has to work for this owner, nasty piece of work who made me feel uncomfortable from the moment I walked in the door. There’s much nicer places to go than this in Paignton so you’re better off spending your money elsewhere."

"First visit here and we will certainly be returning. We enjoyed the weekday lunchtime deal (Mon-Thurs) small cod and chips, bread butter and a drink. Absolutely delicious cod chips, with curry sauce and more than enough to make us feel full. Fresh bakery bread proper butter and a delicious cup of tea (coffee or soft drink). Excellent value for money at £8.95 pp. Staff were excellent and the restaurant decor is fabulous. Can't wait to return."

"I have eaten fish and chips over torquay, as a regular visitor of the city. eating is absolutely brilliant, fresh and full of taste. the personal is very friendly and welcoming and to round it off, the prices are exactly right, not try to tear them off, like many other farms in torquay. very recommended."
