"Very disappointed with browns in canary wharf on Christmas day. Paid per person on a very small cold dinner. The main main was very cold one slice turkey, frozen potatoes and cold red cabbage and very small amount of gravy. The dessert was...frozen small amount cake with slice of cheese. The amount was over and was not worth the money and very disappointed. I was very annoyed with the service and no effort put into the dinner on a special day. We had to ask for tea and coffee which was on menu. Overall the service and food was awful and won't be returning to browns again our reservation was at Mr Mehmet"

"Beautiful pub and wonderful ladies running the bar! My husband and I were staying in the area on vacation and we were struggling to find places that were open on Saturday night after 10pm (it's a business area so they are busiest after work hours during the week). We were walking by and decided to pop in for a quick look. The pub is very pretty and well kept! The ladies working greeted us kindly and we immediately sat down and started chatting with them. This ended up being our favorite pub visit the whole week we were in London. We will be sure to stop back next time we are in the UK!"

"Lord Nelson lived nearby and was a patron.Now the patrons are a mix,pleasant enough,good food with a Yorkshire pudding the size of a small hat.Nice atmosphere,attentive staff,coffee on the river."

"We went for a Sunday lunch today, I can’t say I was overly impressed with it. It came out luke warm and it was just very average/not big portions considering it’s £20. All the mains came out at different times over 45 mins, I know we was a big group but kind of unacceptable. Also the staff were quite rude to us when we complained about this and pretty much had a go at me. Won’t be coming back in a hurry"

"We went here for an office lunch as this place is like a 10 minute walk from Canary. This is one of the things that fascinates me of the London signages, you would see quite a few of these pointing to the Historic river pubs'. You may be fooled to think there is a beautiful marina like thing coming up but you are in for a surprise. There are a couple (which does make the signage saying pubs and not not pub correct), and this is one of them Typical pub ware, fish and chips was ok, but then that how difficult is battering something and putting in oil, eh?"

"The sign for wagamama lies above a souvenir shop, the actual restaurant is further up, which is confusing and when we went up the elevator was not ordered, so my mother, who has expired, went up the stairs, but the staff was really friendly and stationed with her. the food was really fast served even though the place was really busy and tasted good."

"When visiting london from oregon in the distant Pacific Northwest of the usa we discovered this little gem on the wapping lane. we had gone a few days earlier to poppie’s in the brick Lane area. the ones they find here are much better not only the fish (a delicious piece of squid, fried to perfection) but also the chips. it is a small business, so if the weather allows, I suggest their order in the small park directly on the road to dine al fresco. and oh yes, the owner of the fishing business who refused to make his photo was charming. highly recommended."
