"Most caffes can stack large food high. but what brought us to get back to besty and spinky’s was the friendly, efficient service of all employees. You don't find it anywhere, either you have it or not. it makes all the difference and makes the food taste even better! "The crab sandwich was not very pleasant, the bread was not a nice soft loaf, and most of it was on the table as the waiter practically threw it on the table and just said ‘ ha sorry mate’ now that’s awful service, the chips...were stodgy, the calamari did not taste fresh at all , every tasted very frozen and virtually inedible, we left to go and enjoy some good food elsewhere, beautiful place but the food was not that great."

"I have the bus in ventnor and this pub was right next to the bus stop. we were so impressed that we were there all day. the natives made us very welcome as the renter and their bar maid. we liked it so much that we went back the next day. the pub has so much history and thanks to debbie that he shares it with us. also thanks to rascal and robbie that we feel so welcome. we will definitely come back."
