"Love the chicken strips. Not really a fish lover so I can not comment on it but that's not why i come here. I love a good chicken strip and this place has by far the best I think. They are large cuts of meat battered to perfection and covered with panko crumbs. Then fried just right not till the meat is tough and chewy but tender and soft by far my favourite of any restaurant."

"The food here is delicious! Some of the best fish and chips on the strip, definitely our new go-to place in White Rock! We had the cod which was crispy and cooked perfectly, the coleslaw was to die for and the onion rings were superb. The presentation was really nice as well. I also had the fish burger which was delicious."

"Absolutely fantastic. Delicious food, you must have the clam chowder soup and goat cheese terrine. The wine list is well paired and the ceaser's are to die for. As for the service, you just cannot beat the phenomenal attitude of Sarah...with five women at a table, she was real and accomodating and just downright genuine. The view is a treat as well."

"Delicious food, absolutely amazing service from laura great location and SO MANY GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!!!! i got to try so many new gluten free things and i will be coming back to try the rest! So sad that they are selling this is my new favorite restaurants and every celiac person should try this place."

"An owner who genuinely cares about customers and the food. At first, we had to wait so the deep fry oil could be changed out. How many places even do this? Thank you Fishboat! The taste of your fish (we picked cod; they also have halibut) was exceptional and the fries portion was generous for the 5 piece family menu item. Seating away from the sun was much appreciated and yes, we rewarded ourselves with their organic ice cream. Highly recommend this place.Parking: You may have to search for parking, but many spots are right across the street."

"A/c on with the door open: great job when outside is 32 degrees Celsius. fish was OK. sushi was a little dry but plenty. do not attempt to get something done different (like gluten free or alike) as the staff does not have a good command of English."

"Really disappointed in the quality of food and portion size at the White Rock Salty's restaurant compared to the Salty's in Cloverdale. We both ordered a seafood platter which had cod, shrimp, calamari, scallops and fries. The calamari was so over fried, really brown, crisp, hard, you couldn't even eat it. Yuck. The scallops were the size of the tip of your little finger and tasted disgusting, you couldn't even eat them either. Never had scallops that ever tasted that bad in my life. The fish, shrimp and fries were okay. We mentioned the overcooked calamari to the waitress who was the young daughter of the owner and to the owners wife. No sorry, no discount off the bill and no apology. She just yelled to her husband in her native Asian tongue about the overcooked calamari. Never again. Don't eat here, drive to the Salty's location in Cloverdale, larger portions for the same amount of money and way better tasting food."
