"We both went for the steak meal, which I think was very pricey. Around the high $30 mark, possibly closer to $40, then $30. Small meal, steak, chips tomato. The steak was cooked beautifully (re: photo). Came with garlic butter aioli was an extra. Our 6 year old had a kids burger meal, which she demolished in record time "

"Great country pub. They do big gigs in the summer and it has a big stage area out back. Food is really good although there is no table service you order at the bar and collect your own food. Great atmosphere."

"There's been some mixed reviews here recently, but on a quietish Sunday, the food and service was perfect. Platter was so good (the prawns in particular were devine), and the best dumplings and kumara fries. Emersons range on tap was a good pint too. Couldn't fault it. Delicious!"
