"I was very excited to visit Capital, as I have eaten Chef Martin's food at Crave in Vancouver. The pan-fried salmon and lemon-ricotta gnocchi was one of the best meals I have ever had. My friends and I shared a lemon tart and a toffee cake for dessert, and both were delicious. It's too bad I don't live in Winnipeg, otherwise I would be here all the time. Thank you for a wonderful meal!"

"First of all. GET the General Tao's Chicken from the starters menu. You will NOT regret it. It's a tad bit spicy, so tread easy if you aren't fully about that. I wish I could eat it for the rest of my life. Everything else after that was beyond delicious. The waitress didn't write the order down, which made me nervous about the specifics of our food (No tomato on my sandwich is almost always screwed up wherever I go) but it was perfect! Actually better than anticipated! I am hard to please and don't usually tip, or at least very little, but I gave 20$ on an 80$ bill. and trust me, it was worth it. I will be going again! the only thing I can complain about is the locations. being in the St. James/ Polo park area, both locations are quite far. PLEASE BUILD A BROWNS SOCIAL HOUSE IN OR CLOSE TO POLO PARK! I can assure you, I'll be a long time fan and customer!"

"Probably the best place in The Forks for food.Three types of fish to choose from: Cod, Pickerel and Halibut. Everything is prepared on a regular basis, so everything is fresh and crispy.We opted for cod and it was probably the best choice. The fish is juicy and delicious. We didn't find a single bone in any of the pieces. The dishes are served with tartar sauce and a piece of lemon. Additionally You can choose ketchup or HP sauce in the amount you need.I highly recommend it, at these prices for a complete dish it is really good choice in The Forks."

"VERY RUDE MANAGER OR WHATEVER HER TITLE IS!!, The food was gross fries looked and tasted hours old, the bread was stale, my partners order was completely wrong asked for a plain bacon cheeseburger and got everything on it anyways, was refused a small take away bowl to give my service dog some water, cited it was against health regulations to have a dog in the restaurant in the first place the manager then stumbled over her words when she was told not a pet service dog, we left never going back do not go here if you want good food or service"
