"We stumbled over this hidden gem during the opposite yesterday. what a beautiful atmosphere! the pub itself was decorated with historical and quirky remembrance pieces and it was an absolute pleasure to be in such a cozy environment. to finish this, the employees were overrun and tailored to our needs. a great selection of ales rejoiceed the men folk! we had two dogs in the tug and it was nice that the staff made them welcome, even 2 sausages for them questioned. the menu was perfect and had many options! eating was excellent and good value for money as it was homemade! I can recommend the chili! pubs like these are a great review worth. I will definitely visit again. I would give this hidden gem 10 out of 10 in the did more! many thanks to the workers who are so welcome to us during our visit"

"I paid £2.88 for 1x vegetable samosas. Guess what I got. 2 tiny party size samosa, like the mini ones you get from Iceland. I'm sorry but a proper one from a shop costs less on it's own!! Ridiculous how you think you can charge that for 2 mini samosa. Really not happy. Such a shame."

"Attended here for an afternoon tea with my son nieces and nephews for valentines day.. I had not precooked, however called on the day and they were able to accommodate us which was very lucky. The atmosphere is relaxing with a nice ambience.. but the afternoon tea is one of the best I have had in the West Midlands area. They provide a colourful array of cakes, sandwiches and delicious items to indulge. They also provided a child's version for my son who is 4, he enjoyed it and even ate my scone.. lesson learned eat my scone first... I would definitely go again and tried to do so for mothers day unfortunately left it too late, but I will definetly go again as its a really enjoyable afternoon tea, the staff are courteous with great customer service and the venue it self is nice and quaint on the inside and they have a cute little old telephone box which has been decorated, cute picture moment.. my child did not quit cooperate lol."

"More brilliant place to eat that dogs welcome. we were 4 adults and 3 dogs. the food and service was amazing and the prices are so good. absolutely fabulous evening. friendly warm staff. I'm going to go for more."

"Used to eat here quite often and the food was always great, though always had to wait a while for it. Now that Fare and Square have taken over the food is simply cheap and disgusting, tasted like stale bread with cheap tomato puree on, found the same pizza in poundland. Told by a staff member that ALL THE FOOD IS MICROWAVED!"
