"Four of us went for an early evening meal. My first visit. A lovely welcome from attentive staff. Great atmosphere with music not too loud. The food is excellent. I can certainly recommend the pork main course. Nicely presented, tasty and hot. So many restaurants serve luke warm food! Not here. Also a dog friendly establishment. Thank you, thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Panna Cotta, Apple and Plum Crumble and Custard"

"A* for the efforts of this institution. There is a separate menu, frit and they do a GF Sunday roast with gf yorkies. They have a simple but effective rule, the cook/owner will always bring the gf meal to the table itself in contrast to the waiting staff. Really knowledgeable and really favorable for a cafe type situation."
