"Tried La Famiglia last night in the gabba and this is one I would definitely return to! The food was delicious (hate that word but struggling to come up with anything better as a description , and really reasonably priced. Try the char grilled prawns, fabulous and the barramundi (fish of the day was wonderful. The olives were very moreish too. The service was 5 star, very attentive but not pushy and very friendly. Loved the restaurant manager and I take it, owner, lovely, warm person that made us feel very welcome (grazie mille : Only slight downfall was the food got cold quite quickly as we sat near a door but when mentioned to the manager, she said they were going to do something about this and the room temperature was great ie not stifling like a lot of places in winter. She also said she'd seat us somewhere else next time....and yes there definitely will be a next time. Really enjoyed the experience, 5 stars!! And gave Enotecca a run for their money as considerably cheaper and food just as good."

"Went here for the course degustation, the food was was tasty, however the portions was sooo tiny, the dishes were well prepared and tasty, although the cost of the dessert was a big disappointment, an el cheapo of a few mixed berries and coconut...cream. The ambience was ok and the staff trained and professional, if your hungry and are an average consumer of food you may need to go elsewhere to satisfy your hunger. We won't be back as we thought it to be overpriced for the tiny portions served."

"Decided to have a relaxed Sunday lunch here, were shown to a nice window table. We decided on the set menu of a main course, dessert and glass of wine for $25.00 our very perky waitress was so busy being perky she forgot to give our order to the chef! After a very long wait we got our mains I ordered a salad and got a bowl of chopped iceberg, spinach and a bit of cucumber with a tiny smatter of slivered almonds, mostly untouched by any dressing, I asked for some dressing and was given a small bowl of heavy garlic commercial tasting oil. Not good. My husband ordered the delicious sounding roll shaved ham off the bone etc. what he got was a sad little excuse of a main meal. The wine was plain and ordinary. We decided to leave before we had dessert and after a "discussion" were not charged for the " mains". Fair enough, but what we had wanted was a nice relaxing Sunday meal in a presentable hipster cafe. Not to spend 40 mins waiting for chopped lettuce!I really would not recommend this place."
