"The young couple running this small and basic restaurant are enthusiastic and keen to please. We struggled a bit, when ordering, as neither of them speak much English but that was entirely our fault for not having better French. If you don't want to be the only table drinking bottled water ask for carafe d'eau - tap water.All of the dishes were lovely and fresh, and full of flavour. The food really was very good indeed! As with most English people, I suspect, we often go by looks when choosing a restaurant so would probably have passed this place by if we hadn't had prior knowledge. The interior is very plain and the outside area is just a slightly raised wooden platform in the road outside, but don't let that put you off because the food more than makes up for it!"
