"Would have ignored this small restaurant as it looks nothing from the outside, but on recommendations we managed to book. The food was outstanding and very well presented. The starters we had were amazing and the main course of monkfish was absolutely delicious. But be aware, cash only as cards not accepted."

"The walk up the hill from town was worth it. This hidden gem has superbly prepared meals, excellent cocktails and friendly service. The duck starter was a star and the prawn cocktail was tasty with more prawns than usual. The fish (in this case bream was fish of the day) was prepared beautifully, even deboned. The cheese board to cap off the meal was a perfect ending. We were very surprised at the quality and the presentation given its location, hidden in the back of the hotel. All of the staff were engaging, friendly and knowledgeable"

"We asked out taxi driver, a local, to take us to the restaurant he goes too and he dropped us at Rodrigues. When we walked in we were very skeptical because the decor is not up too date but on minds soon changed when the food arrived. The chef/owner/father came to our table and explained to us the fresh fish and meat dishes and was very friendly. His daughter were out waitresses and although did not speak english were very helpful. The portions were large and the food SO fresh and delicious.
