"Boudin’s Bakery has been around since 1894. That’s a long time, and if you taste their food, you can realize what makes them one of the Bay Area’s favorite restaurants. I have been visiting them for almost 25-years now, and it has always been a good experience. Clam Chowder is their signature item, so definitely worth a try. For vegetarians, their Rustic Tomato soup is a good option- tasty and filling. They have plenty of good options to choose from, so don’t be surprised if you drift from one item to another before ordering. The secret is in their bread. Speaking of which, do take a peep into their bakery from the street side window, or the gallery upstairs. Four stars for today’s visit because even though they have restrooms upstairs for public use, the employee tried to direct me to public restroom across the parking lot. Why? I couldn’t understand! CAUTIONARY NOTE: if you are taking the food to outside seating, beware that when opening the doors, the air gust from the bay may just knock the food off the tray."

"Good food and good service. we also did the minigolf below, which was really fun it was a 2 hours waiting, but so be prepared when they go to a washing eve. we put our names down before we go to the restaurant, so our estime waits in the 2 hours, so it can be overlooked. the bar below has a far more extensive menu than the above, so if you are looking for something that is not on the top floor menu, you should find it below."

"Mexican food taken to the next level, and definitely worthy of 2 Michelin stars. The quail pineapple taco in particular was striking, but really every single savoury dish was fabulous. Stellar locally sourced ingredients, bold flavour combinations, outstanding craftsmanship. The veggie replacements I got in lieu of the seafood dishes were lovely (that mushroom taco!! . We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and enjoyed the lovely touches, from the complementary glasses of bubbly to the card and chocolates thank you! 3 (small things need fixing: I don’t like to read about a yummy sounding dessert item in the paper menu I’m given at the start of the meal, and not getting it on my table. The explanations I got for its absence were confused and confusing. The floating island had a very, very eggy flavour. I’m very aware it’s made of egg whites, but it shouldn’t taste so eggy. The music isn’t right. Hip hop trap is the last thing I want to hear while I’m having a Michelin star dinner, no matter how on trend it is."

"A cool, casual spot with some of the best vegan tacos I've ever had! The eggplant taco reminded my of a fish taco, and the jack-meat taco has a pork meat vibe. So many flavors! I also ordered a side of chips and guac and the black-bean and mango, both of which offered larger portions than I anticipated. Everything there is priced accordingly (it's downtown SF...what did you expect...taco Tuesday at Rubio's? . Additionally, their staff was friendly, the service was great, and the restroom is large, clean, and modern. This a great spot for tasty, vegan mexican food. Happy Cow won't let me give this place 5 stars on the review, but in my heart it's a 5 star spot!"
