"Was visiting Austin from PHX. Its been about 6 years since my wife and I have been here and we loved it before. Something has changed since. We were sat quickly, chips and salsa came quickly and then nothing for about 20 minutes. Another table was sat down next to us and their chips, water and drink orders were done right away. So I got up and went to the host stand and a young lady, who happened to be our waitress was there with her head down not acknowledging her surroundings. Finally she looked up and was surprised a customer was standing there. I let her know we haven’t got any service and she was like oh! At this time another lady walked up and asked what was going on so I told her and she said oh I will get someone there. So the hostess was the one who ended up helping us. Idk if she was the assigned waitress or just made to help. By time the drinks came we were done with the 2nd basket of chips. The food seemed to be lower standard than it was last time we were here. The service for sure was less. I remember our server from years ago being amazing. Something has changed here. Confirmation came from my wife who lived in Austin for years and ate at baby a’s multiple times. Austin has way too many choices to be sub par…"

"Ordered fundido and fish tacos, but the highlight was the mezcarita was the highlight!! Smokey sweet with grapefruit, delicious!! I actually knocked it over and broke my glass. They were very kind about it and replaced the drink, no questions asked! Which made me very happy since I was enjoying the drink so much!"

"Unfortunately I found the food and service underwhelming. The service was subpar. Upon arrival to our table the server did not offer to get us drinks and when we asked on her second visit if we could order drinks and put our food in at the same time, one of our drinks was forgotten all together and the other arrived well after two of our appetizers. We saw three tables sit and leave while we were there because the service was so slow. We thought the menu could use 1-2 more options under most categories. The food was also unbelievably salty. We ordered the calamari to start which was good (but salty) among other apps and I could not believe how overwhelmingly salty the salad was. I would have liked to been able to add a protein option if available. We did end with the little donuts for dessert and the texture, sweet and salty combo of the ice cream were fantastic!!The creativity and quality of this dish seemed to outshine the rest. The pricing of entrees seemed to way exceed what you might expect based on the rest of the menu. Overall, I was not impressed with both food and service. While not usually a dessert lover, if I ever go back it would just be for dessert and a cocktail."

"We came for my boyfrienda birthday. It was extremely disapppointing. The food was awful and over priced. There was also limited selection. The caesar salad was terrible and full of the ier yellow lettuce that made it bitter. I hadnt been to the restaurant for years and it has significantly gone down hill. I was speaking to an acquaintance and he had the same opinion.Service was ok but slow. Actually the busboy forget to give one of us water and when we asked for it, he argued with us and said he did give it.Truly was a waste of moey but more importantly ruined the birthday celebration."
