"Not going back. Tacos are gimicky but OK. Hidden mandatory tip in the bill was annoying though. You see the server once when they bring what you ordered using the URL and your phone. For that an automatic 20% tip is added to the bill. But that is not disclosed until you check out ."

"Loved it. The food was great, although my salmon was overcooked when it was brought out. Probably my fault because I did say I like it well done. They promptly made me another one and it was delicious. Our server was amazing. I wish I could remember her name. ???? I will definitely go back when I'm in town. I had lobster bisque and the salmon. I don't have a picture of the good salmon."

"This is absolutely the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. This restaurant is very clean. I recommend the Pastor tacos if you like pork. Located in the heart of Fairfax. "The Ocean Paradise Platter was very underwhelming and I felt like it was a scam. I paid $31 for a mediocre salad, small piece of salmon, 3 pieces of shrimp and Scallops. The waitress then tried to justify by saying that it was stated in the description but it was not. After asking she provided 3 more pieces of shrimp which was nice. Drinks were good, service was good. If you come here avoid the platter"

"Attended the GMU Men's Basketball Coach Tony Skinn Coach's Show in the club room of the Ale House. Staff was VERY accommodating of my wife and I, who have mobility issues and cannot deal with elevated bar tables, so they set up lower tables for us. Room was a bit small for the large turnout, but no one had problems viewing the taping of the show or feeling the fellowship. I had the wurst platter, which was VERY good, and my wife the macaroni and cheese, which she loved. I was a little disappointed in the beers on tap (they advertise 100 beers, but many were overseas brands or ciders I was expecting more American craft beers), but I found a Baltic Porter that was quite tasty and satisfying. Overall, I would recommend the Capital Ale House for future Coach's show events and just as a date night locale (the main part of the restaurant seemed to be quieter with widely spaced tables). WE WILL BE BACK!"
