"Good beer at a reasonable price with a great ambiance. However I wouldn't eat here. Food was kind of expensive and very underwhelming. Pizza was meh, and the tuna fish tacos were a bit strange having cooked tuna. I would for sure some back for drinks to hangout despite the food"

"We stayed close to Island Lava Java had breakfast twice. It was wonderful. It’s right on the water just about all seats provide a view of the beautiful ocean. Today we got to see a Naval War Ship as we dined."

The general mood of all people who worked there was very nice. It is on the beach and could hear the huge waves crashing. A must try"

"Yesterday at Kona Fair, Lava Bowls Hawaiian Food Truck, was set up by tables for everyone to sit. They had three choices of plates available, I chose the beef luau plate. Horrible, not even taro leaf, was another kind of green (c'mon Hawaiian). Had some meat in it, but was hard to find it in the plate and was even harder to try it. No love in food. Never taste like a Hawaiian even had a hand in making this dishes. Don't waste loans, spend your fun pass credits on another food truck."

"First stop on our honeymoon had 4 of their special cocktails everyone was amazing. Had the fish and chips and the fresh catch we both shared our meals and were impressed. Must stop the location of your search for a place with great food and great atmosphere. The food is right by the sea with a great view of the sun. You have live music that makes a great experience. Workers are very friendly and do an amazing job. Anyone who works there loves his jobs that you can say through their passion."
