"The menu listed Gluten Aware options The wait staff indicated that the GF items and selections are prepared in a separate area but definitely not Celiac level; cross contamination is likely. GF-aware Fish tacos were tasty but the conn tortillas fell apart when picked up The environment was lovely and the service was considerate. However if you are Celiac eat here at your own risk."

"Fantastic Tacos! A tad more expensive than anticipated, especially for a special on Tuesdays. 6 tacos and 2 drinks was 30 dollars. That said, they were delicious and I would recommend!"

"The good : Very good fish and chips. Decently priced . I always get the haddock .The seafood selection is great! They have lots of good deep fried . Shrimp . Scallops and clamsThe chowder is awesomeThey even have good platters that you can satisfy most peopleThe bad:The coleslaw is absolutely horrible . We have been coming here for 10 years or more and seems like it's always very dry. We ask them to put extra dressing but they never do .. we have complained about it many times and even when friends and relatives come over they love your seafood but nobody eats the coleslawFor Me it seems they don't cook it enough. Some time you get the odd cook whos working and the fish is a bit doughy So I always ask for it to be extra crispy... just to make sure it's done to my liking!"

"We tried this place out for lunch - I had a grilled turkey sandwich with brie & fruit, the bread was slightly warmed and the sandwich cold. Fries were dry and overcooked.There's a free pool table and numerous signs advertise cheap pints of Canadian/Molson/Coors/Whatever from 10pm."

"Best Fish and Chips in Penticton!. I recently went to Joey's Fish and Chips back in March 2014 at about 2:30pm. Service was very quick and got a nice seat by the window looking towards main street. I ordered the Pollock which is only 9.99 all you can eat on Tuesday or you have a choice of Cod for only 14.99. Pop was only 2.50 and refills are free. I got some white and delicious hot fish on a nice bed of fries with a little bowl of coleslaw with a big fresh bottle of tartar sauce. The waitress was great she always came by to see how it was and if I wanted to get some more. I recommend this to be the best fish and chips in the city of Penticton and a must try."
