"The roasted beet and fried goat cheese salad was spectacular! The poutine was good, but average. The creamy dill salmon (special of the day) was actually weirdly bitter. The salmon was awfully bland, pale, and a bit overcooked to my liking. The steamed veggies on the side were also bland and unexciting. The bar was extremely limited and out of stock, even lacking the basic ingredients for an old fashioned. We were the only ones here on Saturday night, which felt odd and cold. Unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the views which seemed like they would otherwise be beautiful! The service was great! No rush despite out later arrival and very friendly. If you come here, get the salad, and do so when you can enjoy the view!"

"The experience in gahan was pleasant in every sight. our server was friendly but not transmitted. eating came hot and in a timely fashion. Fish tacos are on many menus uptown, but I must say Gahan tacos are some of the best! also their fries are very good; perfectly roasted and salted. we had a place on the terrace, so we also enjoyed the summer weather. the only very small critique is that the picnic tables could use a wipe; it is natural to have some rubbish on outdoor tables, but skip the vogel poo"

"We came to Saint John for a jack and jill party and this was our first stop. The food was amazing, the 80s tunes were awesome and rhe drinks were spectacular. We loved the atmosphere so much we ended up there twice in one day. On our second visit we sat on the heated patio and had Justin as our server. He was hands down the best server we had ever had. He was so fun he was like having another guest at the party in fact we joked he could replace the best man as long as he brought a peanut butter burger and Britts chips with him in exchange for the spot. We cannot say enough good things about this place, both the drink and food menu are exellent, the atmosphere is cozy, music fabulous and the staff outstanding. We loved it so much we saud we would do another road trip just to visit again.Thanks so much. Should add we ended up back for breakfast and it was unbelievably good. The staff is so top notch. Could not ask for better service. Three visits in less than 24 hours is a real testament to the level of awesome."

"A friend and I have been going to The Med for years, one of our “go-to” places for lunch. Tues-Fri they serve wonderful Pad Thai and Massaman Curry. We haven’t been in as much the past year due to the pandemic but were both really longing for our delicious favourites. When I arrived I advised the staff that we were both vaccinated and would require a server also fully vaxxed. Instead of the run-around I have received elsewhere in the city (no names but I’ll just say Rockwood Park) I was graciously informed that all of the staff at The Med are fully vaccinated, that the owner gave them all the time off to get vaxxed. So in addition to always great food and friendly service this is an absolute must for people wanting to support responsible restauranteurs who care about the well being of their staff and their customers."

"I'm very disappointed with my dinner and evening at Billy's. It always had a good reputation and I was very excited to celebrate a special opportunity in the restaurant. I booked days in advance, and when we arrived, we sat at the table that was next to the open kitchen and next to the bathroom. When I asked for another table, I was quickly released and said that the other two available tables were already taken aside, no one occupied these tables all the time we were there). Not a big start and it certainly a damper on the atmosphere; but we stayed positive. When my red wine arrived, it was warm, but my friend's beer was good. He ordered the lobster dinner $55 market price) and I ordered the salmon. The lobster dinner was good and came with soggy vegetables and about 8 pommes. My salmon was tasteful, but it and my vegetables were lukewarm and my risotto was cold. I was very disappointed. Our bill came just under $200 with tip I tipped 20% because the server was good... not excellent as it was pretty busy, but good). What should be a beautiful evening with great food ended sub par. Saying we were kidnapped is an understatement. I never go back."
