"We went out on December to eat what is our jubilee, in tavira for dinner with our granddaughter. unfortunately we found out that all our restaurant farms (except our fav pizza place where we were closed the...night before) between Christmas and New Year. we walked around without aim until we stumbled on this great restaurant. for appetizers we had the grilled garnels and cod chains, in addition to brot and oliven. great! as a escape we had the piri piri piri huhn, black pork steaks and grilled meeresbass with homemade French fries, all wonderfully cooked and seasoned perfectly. for dessert, the house special by mandel with caramel, roasted cocosnüssen and kiss a perfect end to a perfect meal. find this hidden gem you will not be disappointed!"

"Had a meal here based on Tripadvisor reviews. It was nice, greeted by Raphael who was very pleasant and showed us to our table. Waitress then arrived with menus and explained that the Italian section of menu was not available as the chef was off. We ordered the cheese starters which were very tasty. The mains fillet mignon was served with chips and salad. The mushroom sauce was gluey and covered the beef it would be best served in a side dish. We chose a local wine which was nice. Overall the evening was pleasant but unfortunately no atmosphere"

"Arriving on the Island around lunchtime we came upon this place and decided to try it. We were offered seats either in the sun or in the shade. We decided to sit in the sun overlooking the beach. We ordered drinks which were served quickly and we ordered food. We both choose seafood and were not disappointed. It was fresh, well cooked, and tasty."

"We have had a home in Cabanas but despite seeing and hearing so many great reviews we had never been to Ideal until tonight. It surpassed our expectations, the service was impeccable and we will be returning often, the John Dory with Orange was amazing...and the floating islands dessert delicious. Can’t wait to try the other things on the menu."
