"The food was disappointing the crackling on the pork wasn't crispy, the batter on the fish was stodgy, the black pudding scotch egg didn't have any black pudding. This was a pity as the setting, service and ambiance would have warranted another visit. Unless the food improves we will not be coming again."

"Food very good BUT the whole experience was terrible as we were embarrassed by the horrendous service. Us and our friends have never had anything so bad! Bill was £250. I spoke to the owner the following week he offered us a complimentary meal for 4 people. I then asked via email what was included and now despite several other emails there has been no reply. I ended up asking for a refund but guess what no reply. I would never go there again as the service is awful and no further correspondence which is very rude."

"Eat is good. today for a Mexican Monday, ordered a burrito with a tee. I must say these meals are not filling this, and if they look for somewhere more food, I would not recommend this place. However, I recommend this place if they are looking for a fast bite and a drink."

"Ed, deb’s and julie are here a few times. here there is a good selection of real ales and beer (the drop bar is delicious and refreshing) with 2 bar seats, with a restaurant part as well. it has a beautiful garden area with parking the menu special and take away is more expensive to eat, but are available while the restaurant menu changes after seasons, availability, products available etc. well worth a visit."

"Sat with nave and mother in the law .had the sunday roast, which was absolutely beautiful. One of the best pub roasts we had for a long time. Beautiful friendly mens .and service was excellent. meat was tender and fresh veg. will go back and recommend."
