"This place is a great refreshment from the overpriced “classical” restaurants in st Wolfgang. Simple fish for easy prices: Bistro/Kiosk style. Friendly service. They no longer had all the elections at 6:00, so order in advance if you want to be sure that they have what you want. Also, call ahead and they will put your fish on the grill so it is ready when you arrive. Why only 4 stars? The fish was a bit too good (2 min less on the grill should have been enough, but it is a high 4 stars :"

"Man muß Glück haben um einen Platz unter den schirmen zu bekommen. Man sitzt gut hier. Das Personal ist bemüht, die Bestellungen abzuwickeln, an schönen Tagen herrscht hier Hochbetrieb. An so einem Tag sind wir wieder zum "Schirm" gegangen und ich habe mir tatsächlich etwas bestellt, was mir nicht mundete. Ich habe ein Risotto mit Pilzen und gerösteten Frühlingszwiebeln bestellt. Klingt gut, war aber eine matte Sache. Außer Reis, ein Hauch von Pilzen und von den gerösteten Zwiebeln war nichts mehr zu sehen. Extra Dry."

"If you don 't know you would not look for it, but than you would miss out something very special. Excellent food pleasant presentation, in a quaint old Bad Ischler Restaurant, Hidden Charm.visited in August 2018 and will celebrate in August 2019 with our friends. Come try it, you will enjoy it"

"Rudest staff I have ever encountered!! First we weren 't served for 20 minutes, although others who came after us were served. After asking, we were finally served. We ordered a starter and four mains. Then we waited another 45 minutes for the appetizer to come, but the wrong one came. After the right starter we waited another 30 minutes for the main course, so a total of 1 1/2 hours. The people who came after us had already finished eating and left. We then asked again where the food would be and shortly afterwards it came. I then said to the waitress that we had waited a very long time and that we were very dissatisfied with the service. There wasn 't even a half-hearted Sorry . She just said that if we order food that takes a long time (calamari), it 's our own fault. We were then asked twice if we wanted to eat the food or not (in a very rude tone) and then we finally said no because we were so perplexed by the rude behavior. The other waiter then came up to us and said that from the start we had only come to cause trouble, which of course was not true and we only pointed out the poor service. If I could give 0 stars I would! I 've never experienced anything like this in my life!!"
