I had the Pfefferhaxe, the meat was tender and juicy and the crackling done to perfection! I will be going back again. Great service even though the place was packed, and really fair prices. "On 26.02. it was back to Pfanni (Swinger with family and cooking spoons were on the way in the region. Time to finally meet again. It was a difficult task for me to choose a place in the Upper Franconian area, which is not too far away for all participants and also the most important! Just a few weeks before we were thrilled (RED and I were there and about the measurements. Fresh, hot, delicious. At that time we had the Rumpsteak (butter tender, fresh, crispy frying with him and the raccoon. Almost 19 euros per serving and a fresh salad. A classic, a Kir Royal. 3,50 € for this are fair, the taste good, no cheap ingredients as well as already experienced elsewhere. Then a fish cream soup from the salmon trout (a dream of 4.50€). This time it should be the peasant carving for me, as I knew the spit from my own experience and the lobe of the little probierhahn. At that time both dishes were far beyond what is otherwise served in the region. What is to be expected for this price (in a dry cut, food here is around the 11 euros! also in this area. While I took distance from the liver dump soup fed in front of the table, as I expected a large part and b this had a fairly dry dump for me during a previous visit, this was probably gouted at the table. The salad was obtained as well as during the visits before: fresh, crispy, self-made and served with a light garlic dressing in a Chicoree leaf. I don't like big, only halved radishes, they stayed with me. Rumpsteaks, spits and turkeys were ordered at the table. Veni vidi disappointi. Whether this was due to the standard knife, I can't judge, but I had conscience bites that recommended this food brightly. The spits were also just a shadow of what I remembered. Little, kind of drunk. They made me feel bad too. One of the spears was at the otherwise great service (3rd year lt. Name plate is accused as dead fried, which unfortunately only triggers one shoulder, but no further reaction. Too bad because it's unnecessary. But there is an apprentice to learn on site. It's gonna... The daughter of the Pfannis has a part of turkey steaks in a fruity sauce. Luckily they and FrauPfanni had shared a salad plate before, otherwise it would have been something. For a person who would have eaten this as a main dish without soup or extrasalate, that would have gone wrong. Optically and on request at the eater too little. Please consider a price/performance here. And after the good salad came my main dinner. The peasant carving. "I was attentive to the loading with connected fish farming and smoke (or vice versa? by the signs that promise to stand on the road, and since I am a curious little, I follow brav and would like to point out. over the mühlenbach, to the parking lot. from the car, past the huge old mill wheel. on the left is the passage to the mill shop, a little further the slaughter and the smoking, on the right side is the sale. a small, mostly with customer-proppetal charge. in the flyer are local fish species and seafood. my favorite in the cold food is the real salmon beacon for just around the three euro, the trout cream and a fresh trout from the smoke. buttersweet, tasty. and as it is in a snack, so there are also warm eating. either with some luck a trout still warm and fresh from the smoke, or fish chips. for 3,50 euro there is a mischievous bag full of coarse (and very tasty pommes fries, well maintained fish pieces and homemade steakhouse sauce. for a snack more than sufficient, already hot fresh from the frituse. or a baked fish with accessories. the meal can be enjoyed either to go or directly at the last. there are some tables in the shade (good in summer and other in the associated garden ready for the gasse. Cooled drinks are available in a refrigerator, a perfect snack far away from the snack with the 08/15 program. Conclusion: go and enjoy it after lust and laune."
