"The staff is friendly and the food is extremely delicious. Fried chicken is just fried about right. The dumpling is extremely tasty. Ramens are extremely well and soups are not too salty as well. The house made ginger ale is so unique that the taste of ginger is so strong. The best Japanese food in Portland."

"The food and service were fantastic. With that mentioned, I'm not sure we would go back. The sink at the sushi bar was foul. Black mildew growing on the back wall and the area around it. The lock on the bathroom door was also broken. It's not a big deal, but it could lead to someone being embarrassed. I'm giving it a 3 star rating because the food and service were top-notch. As a small family owned restaurant, I know it's been hard for the last 3 years. But truly, if it was important, they could have taken the time to put a staneless steal back drop on the sink. Hopefully, they will install a stateless steal backdrop or equivalent. But I also wonder about the area we can't see."

"Service was fantastic, friendly, and fast. I had the pork chop, which was absolutely delicious, the roasted veggies were great, the mashed potatoes were... Not that great. Slightly burnt, and a little dry. My wife 's fish tacos were good, but nothing special . My daughter had the avocado fries, which were delicious with the spicy mayo (others thought it was a bit too spicy, but I really liked it). Overall a good experience, but again, nothing too special."

"Authentic Peruvian food with lots of options to chose from and very friendly staff. As a native Peruvian, I could enjoy the excellent food while visiting my son in the Portland area. The fish ceviche was one of the best I have tried in the US. The pollo a la brasa simply delicious -served with aji and huacatay sauce. My son's aji de gallina was very good and a large portion. Highly recommend this cozy restaurant if you want to taste real Peruvian."

"Had a reservation for the thickens tea experience, but with the snow was not able to make it the day, so instead had to take food to go the next day. Eat tasted very good, but at $140 for 2 people, without the experience it was in the grunde overpriced appetizer. the ambiente and the experience is really what they pay and since we couldn't find out, it felt like a waste of money. also eating was cold when I came home with him (also the “hot” eating) so that was an extra bummer."
