"My Father in Law and I had to run to Black Mountain. We decided to eat while we were there but didn 't know where. I looked up several local restaurants and this one stuck out. Upon entry we were greeted by wonderful smells and a friendly smile. I ordered The Lookout . It is fried chicken on top of a 9 oz scratch made biscuit with cheddar cheese, delicious smokey bacon and sausage gravy. My Father in Law had the biscuit and gravy and he loved it. It was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend."

"They have the best breakfast/brunch!Everything we’ve had here has been delicious but personal favorites are biscuits and gravy and bourbon street waffle. Love the rooftop dining with amazing mountain views when it was open . . . hope it reopens soon! Also cocktails are very tasty! It’s always been very busy when we’ve been but the wait is definitely worth it. Must try when in Black Mountain!"

"Beer and beer selection were good. No complaints about the staff or the service. Some burgers and some chicken wings were absolutely terrible. One of the worst meals I've ever seen in a restaurant. The chicken was so dry, it was not edible and just threw away. Burgers were advertised as Smash-Burger, but tasted like a frozen Generikaburger from the local supermarket freezer compartment. Based on the shape and meat properties, there was definitely not a crushed cooking technique as advertised. Maybe we caught her on a day. Would be a nice place to grab a beer and hang up with a friend, but would avoid eating unless something changes. If there were 1 star on food and 3-4 for the rest, a total of 3 gave."

"Amazing food!!!! My husband I shared the Curry Puffs crab-Wagoon appetizer followed by her pad Kee Mow Teriyaki chicken. Everything was delicious, fresh and full of wonderful taste. Nice atmosphere and friendly. If I had lived here, I would be a regular."

"I was just over when I noticed this pretty simple looking restaurant and the words steak and seafood that made me curious to try. I found it to be a really pleasant home-style experience. Not something nice, more like a nice barbecue, but with a seafood grill. All were friendly, my sweetie stayed full, service was fast, and the fried seafood delicious. I have the 2 articles (not remember the name). Fortunately, they made several reasonable substitutions on the sides, and I ended up with a huge plate of fried kindness. I wouldn't say it was cheap, but certainly not bad for the amount of food I got. I'm not a seafood expert, but I would recommend it to everyone to look for some causal."
