"We ate this lunch in this restaurant. very nice reception, attentive staff (the parasol has been moved to put us in the shade! I took advantage of a duck magret with foie gras sauce and nice accompaniments. my wife also enjoyed her fish dish with a mousseline sauce. a recommendation. and Anne-Marie"

"We stopped by Chimay on our way to France, and it was kind of what we expected. It was very, very commercial, with kind of a sterile feeling. They only had four beers to try, and they're the same type you can get anywhere in Brussels. The food was pretty good, the typical, heavy, stick-to-your-ribs Belgian fare. We didn't have time to take the museum tour. The service was not horrible for Belgium, meaning the people were polite, but they charged us for several items we didn't order. This is a nice little stopover if it's kind of on your way to something else, but I would definitely not make a special trip for it unless you happen to be a huge Chimay fan."
