"We were here yesterday because of a family pension and were extremely disappointed. I know that mistakes can be made, but it looked like they took care of a child's birthday party and not a funeral. the quality of the sandwiches and cake was actually quite embarrassing and I have no cake to describe the vegan tablet, except it was just terrible. it's such a shame because we always enjoyed here and we definitely expect more. it wasn't good enough for my oncle funeral. I would definitely not recommend nor will any of us retuning."

"After being turned down for a tent pitch around the corner we went into the pub for an early tea as we'd skipped lunch. Dinner was starting at 5 and we arrived at 4 but the staff kindly said the kitchen would start cooking for us at 4:30. The food was glorious, we both had the Cullen Skink, the first time I'd ever had it....amazing, you must try it, I'd happily live off it! Mains were great too, and with a sea view what more could you ask for? Use this restaurant/ pub, don't lose it as it's a gem! Lots of outside parking which is free, at the harbour. Can't wait to return"
