"Sushi was horrid, I am a sushi enjoyer and I know everyone creates it their own way, but still this sushi wasn’t good at all, the fish was gooey and the middle area was frozen, I don’t know who made it but my family and I couldn’t eat anymore, we had to throw 2 plates of sushi into the dumpster because of this."

"Defiantly the best fish market in DC, and probably the only fish market. Really great selection of fish and shellfish. They accept credit cards and work late, up to 8pm on summer.Also you can get a fresh seafood as crab legs and clam chowder at the other side. Funny thing, the market goes up and down depending the water level in the river."

"I am OBSESSED. This is the closest thing I've seen in DC that reminds me of a New York Bodega. I passed by this on the street and stopped inside. The options from American Breakfast platters to sandwiches (egg sandwiches, wraps, subs, etc) really was a piece of nostalgia for me. And one of the best parts is... it's not overpriced. I got the Whiting fish sandwich. They are generous with their portions. I got 2 pieces of Whiting fish for 7 dollars (and they added a little bit more also) which was absolutely incredible. The tartar sauce was one of my favorites. I also got the potato salad and wolfed it down. I think I found my new spot to go to. Go and support this place. I believe it's a small-owned family business. The food is amazing and you will NOT regret it."

"We got the fried chicken sandwich, fried fish, plantains, and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was flavorful and the best part. The chicken and fish seemed fairly bland, but we might just prefer a more robust seasoning. Overall this place has great potential, oh and great lemonade."

"This is no frills, baby. Generously served dishes made with a lot of love. We ordered chicharron y yuca as an appetizer and the yuca was crisp and amazing. Then we got pollo guisado and a grilled chicken (pollo a la plancha). Both were served with rice and beans and tortillas. Also tried the horchata and a cantaloupe beverage both made in house. We got everything to go and when we were picking up the food the cashier gave us a free atol de elote which was super nice. Go and support this local spot!"

"It is not the best sushi I've ever had, but it's fast sushi, and some menu items are actually quite good, mostly the seasoned nigiri. Everything is handled by a touch screen system. The delivery times on food orders are much longer than they claim, so plan your appetite accordingly. When you do need a server, be warned that service is weak. It'll take a while, and they'll forget things, e.g. they'll bring you sake with no cup. There is also no Wasabi. If you ask for it, it will be brought, and it is needed. See above about service. Ask early. Overall, I was hungry for sushi and a fast lunch, and this worked to scratch that itch, but I would not recommend it as a destination."
