"I have been using this chip shop for years but the last few times I'd noticed the food went downhill with tonight reaching an all time low. We were the only customers but it still took 20 minutes for our order of 3 standard items. The frying staff were too busy messing about to concentrate on preparing quality food. The chips had been refried so many times they were dark brown and chewy and we couldn't eat them at all. I'm sad to say that unfortunately after using them for years I would rather go hungry than return."

Free gluten items on the menu that tastes so good. highly recommended gluten free chicken strip or gluten-free fish. never had problems with cross-contamination in contrast to others I ate. friendly staff who enjoy a chat. large portion size that does not cost the earth. have been using this chippy for a long time now and would not use another."

"What do you want me to say? the carvery is a great value for what it is! the meats were cooked last night for perfection, the veg was just as delicious. not enjoyed a carvery that was much in a long time. it was nice that they also have taken care of a large group of 30 at the end of the pubs! has also made a beautiful end of the day! the desolate was tasty, but the price let me shed a drink; but my god was worth it. the chocolate cake was divine, we'll be back at some point."
