"This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but the quality of the food and the service has been on a slide downhill. When they started there was an interesting and different menu, seafood grills and chive pancakes for example. It is now rather an indifferent restaurant with very good fried fish but nothing else special. Deserts were never their strong point but now they do not even offer them. The owners may be drinking during the evening as service can be very slow with a lot of unnecessary socializing."

"My husband and I plus another couple drove 25 minutes to Clamdiggers and it wasn’t open. Very disappointed. There was no communication of any kind to say it was not open. Not sure what happened."

"Who is looking for a high-quality gluten-free option must go here. not only have they clearly explained options on the menu, but always ask if they are celiac, so they are extra cautious in the kitchen. I was with my family at many places that love it. the staff will always run by the feet, but very friendly, helpful and happy. food is the thought in the premier league of restaurants!"

"After years of living in wales, these are the most beautiful fish chips we have tasted. the fish was really filled and only broken enough. the service was excellent and the waiting time was very fast with eating freshly cooked and piping hot. would recommend everyone as the best companion."

"Way over priced for what you get £6.50 for a very small portion of chips and the smallest piece of cod I've ever seen served, fish was lovely but the chips and batter far to greasy, I think they're charging silly prices as they're the only chippy around. And to top it off they're not happy with the 5p we have to pay for a plastic bag, they charge 10p. Take my advice, buy elsewhere VERY POOR"
