"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings.The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."

"On my home trip I made in the cellar meal. as already a few paintings before I parked on the parking lot directly on the road and then went towards pedestrian zone where I knew some restaurants. on this warm day, the sense was shortly after an salad, so I controlled this little Italian restaurant. as with all adjacent plants there were some tables with sunshades, of which only two were occupied. service at my arrival was no one to see the personal, but few eyes later came a waiter at my table, greeted me and gave me the menu. then he also asked if I wished a drink, but I wanted to see the card first and asked me to think about it. while I looked at the offer of the card, he delivered the lady new drinks on the side table. when I decided he accepted the order, thanked himself and disappeared into the restaurant. both he and a colleague who came later served the guests very friendly and accommodating and were always attentive. eat the offer includes Italian cuisine in the usual brotzeit pizza, pasta suppening, salat, meat and fish. the complete map can be seen on the homepage of the restaurant: [hidden link]. as in the previous plan, I ordered “Insalata bella italia, salat with tomato, gurken, paprika, rucola, carrots, olives, wobbles, ham and cheese” (7.50 €). I chose the variants with vinegar and oil, and I ordered a Cola light (0,3l for 2,40 €). that was also served immediately, soon later the waiter brought cutlery and a serviette as well as a menage with vinegar and oil. only a short time later the waiter then brought the salat, which was dressed on a large dish, to a small prise with fresh white brot. I had not expected that so much cheese as could be seen on the photo, but the compilation was harmonious and tasty. when I was sitting outside, of course I can't say anything to the restaurant's facility. the furniture outside is stable, with metal frame and seating surfaces and back rests of the chairs made of brown plastic braid. cleanness of the outside area was well maintained and clean, even with glasses, tellers and cutlery there was no reason to complain. I didn't visit the toilet."

"Having searched and found this interesting looking resturant I had booked a table at this Celle resturant for my wife and I on our recent trip to see the Christmas market in this prety old Germany town. Unable to find space to park a most helpful staff member took my keys and parked for me a sign of the attentive ,friendly and excellent service that followed for the entire evening experience. I chose from and had the seven course menue Desgustation,my wife fearing she would be unable to tacke so much started with two courses and finished with four! Smallish portions but wonderful raw materials and fine attention to their cooking and display ensured an eceptional evening. My only adverse comment was the wine list was so long I would liked to have had a further day to read it more thouroughly!! A fine start to our weekend in this delightful town."

"Besökte denna restaurang i samband med en bussresa. Vi var några stycken som ville sitta ihop men då det bara fanns ströplatser kvar där vi blivit anvisade satte vi oss vid ett annat bord i anslutning till de andra i en för övrigt tom restaurang. Detta sågs inte med blida ögon av servitrisen utan vi blev otrevligt bemötta. Maten som serverades var heller ingen höjdare. Mitt tips är att äta någon annanstans."

"Really nice atmosphere. Can recommend the 2 person sushi combo plate, it was a great mix of rolls and not boring at all. The cocktails were nice and the service was great. We had our food and drinks on our table really fast. What else can you ask for!"
