"We 're on family vacation, which we come up every summer to our summer home in Freedom. We had just gotten back from Santa 's Village and drove by this place, it was open so we stopped to eat. We walked in and since we have small children (1&3) we decided to sit outside to not disturb anyone inside. Everything was going well, we ordered some drinks and they had some outdoor games so I brought the kids over to them while we waited for the food to come. Our food came out and I started to eat while my husband cut up my youngest daughters spaghetti she 's only 1 so he helped her eat some. When he had a chance to start eating his, he noticed the spaghetti was full of water and hardly any sauce. He couldn 't eat any of it, the waitress never came around to check on us or refill our drinks even though the place wasn 't very busy. When the server finally came around to see if we were ready for the check that 's when my husband had a chance to tell her that he couldn 't eat it because of all the water. Since The rest of us was already finished he chose not to replace it but said he would like it removed from the bill instead. (The food wasn 't very good neither of my kids could eat theirs and I forced myself to eat some of mine) their server then said she would speak to the manager eventually a young girl (teenager) came out and said we can 't comp you any food and had the owner on the phone and handed the phone to my husband, as my husband calmly tried to explain the situation the owner cut him off and started screaming at him accusing him of trying to get a free meal and threatened to remove him from the establishment and have the cops pick him up. After multiple threats and telling my husband he knew people in town and he 's friends with the cops and my husband would be handled he hung up. I asked the manager to bring the food back so I could take a picture of the food to prove it was uneaten but she said we threw it out because he said he didn 't want it . The manager took the phone and walked away. After about 10 minutes of them not coming back to the table I went to the bar to find out what was going on and she said the cops are going to be here in a few minutes during all of this my 3 year old is crying and scared so I told her we really needed to go the kids are very upset. The cops show up and we finally get our check and paid for all of the food, the bill was $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids which we have absolutely no problem paying for. The issue here is the awful service by the owner and staff. The table beside us actually approached us and said they had to send their food back because of the same reason. So the cop left as we left and my daughter is still crying, confused and scared. It was an awful experience not only for us but everyone in the restaurant who sided with us. And now my kids are traumatized and afraid of cops, they 're terrified. I 'm sick to my stomach over this and have never been involved in anything like this before Edit to add- the responses to the poor reviews speak for themselves, they remove all negative feedback on their accounts. I would NEVER expose my 2 young children to such a scene willingly, this is 100% poor behavior by a business owner. I understand some people have had a great experience here and I wished we did too, unfortunately that was not the case. As someone in the service industry I totally understand the struggles a business can experience with certain customers but we were definitely not those types of customers in this situation. I 'm extremely disappointed in the response and measures these owners took in a simple and easy way to make customer satisfaction a priority. When we come back next year I certainly won 't be surprised if this business still exists. They couldn 't careless about customer experience and can 't handle the criticism on their food so they lash out and the negative reviews speak to that. If you 're thinking about trying this restaurant I highly suggest in an alternative solution especially for the cost of less than mediocre food."
