"It was a Mother’s Day Brunch. We were not seated in the dining room had to walk a ways to get to the buffet, not ideal for my 98 year old mother. All the food was cold, service was poor and certainly not worth $69.00 per person with an 18% service charge added on."

"Our family ate here today, and I’m glad we did. The service we received at the order window was fantastic! The kids ordered off the kids menu, and enjoyed every bite! My husband had the beef brisket bowl, and I had the blackened fish and shrimp tacos. Our food was amazing, and the outdoor seating with surf board tables amused the kids. If you ever visit Clearwater this place would be a number one spot to eat at. Top notch service and food!"

"The view of the Gulf of Mexico and the setting sun was beautiful. The service was a bit slow, but the server was friendly. The food was good, but it was barely warm when it was served. The Key Lime pie was awesome, one the best I have ever had. There were menu items shown on their website, that they no longer offered. I would eat here again, just to enjoy the sunsets, but I wish they would get their act together a little more. This place could be great."

"Nice view, great staff service and food was good. Fried peppers were great, not too hot but tasty. Rum bucket was fun; grouper nuggets, gator bites, calamari was average. French fries were better than expected. Recommend the Mahi Shrimp Platter as a winner."

"Half the reason we look forward to going to Clearwater is getting to have breakfast every morning at The Beach Shanty. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel at home. Everything on the menu is excellent but my very favorite are Mom?s Bennies. If you enjoy eggs Benedict, you?ll love Mom?s Bennie."

"This place is really good and authentic. Yes, they are pricy even for tourist area, but the sizes of their sashimi are 30% larger than where I come from. The fried rice I ordered for my child is also excellent, with the right taste and aroma of wok stirred fried plate. Btw, sushi fish must be frozen flash, it is normal to then serve the fish to the correct temperature."

"Today for lunch, sceptical after reading some negative reviews. I'm so glad we decided to stop and try it anyway. Eating was absolutely amazingly tasteful and was a great price that ruck fries I highly recommend. service was also top-notch very attentive our server came several times to ensure that we were all set."
