"The most beautiful beach I've been to on Costa del Sol! The hike to the beach is roughly 1km and I would recommend sneakers or sandals with a good hold. Doable in slippers — and that is how locals do it, but the ground is uneven and dusty. It takes you about 10-15 minutes to do the hiking part and it is worth it! The beach was so beautiful and the sight was breathtaking. Because it was so remote, we felt comfortable leaving our stuff unsupervised and nothing got stolen. The beach is small so you can probably easily get someone to watch for your stuff anyways. The beach is quite remote so especially if you're by foot, make sure you have a small snack and lots of water with you. There are no stores close by. Especially if you're visiting tbe Nerja Caves (I do not recommend them, they were expensive and kind of average) make sure you buy food and beverages before traveling to the caves/the beach."
