"My mother’s favorite in cunit for lunch because of a) the price, b) the intention, c) the friendly staff who speaks English (and German). do not have very high expectations, it is just a typical bar that will have a 10-Euro menu that a bottle of table wine (and gaseosa) if they want. typical local lunch menu food: first cure veg, salat or pasta, second cure meat or fish, and dessert. all very acceptable price quality-by-quality, not super-special, but nothing to complain and they make them welcome."

"Well located, good service, quality product well presented and very correct price. Very good attention at all times checking that the dishes respond to the expected and checking continuously if everything is OK.Menu not very varied but more than enough for all tastes. Well-made and presented dishes as the photographs and interior space not very wide but well taken and cozy.So I could see is a good place to take a good vermut of the house' that in my more than sure next visit I will try."

"We have been going every summer to eat paella for more than 10 years, now I made a reservation as always and what was the surprise, they have transferred the restaurant to some Chinese, since we were already there with the reservation we said we are going to give it a try. We ordered a paella for 5 and the truth was that it was almost inedible, there wasn't a fork of rice that we didn't have to be removing shrimp tails, small pieces of clam heads,,, and we also found a whole tomato with the skin, the prawns half raw ... In short, a disaster, we left more than half of the paella and they charged us €75 for it. We complained and the solution was to invite us to coffee, in short, we will have to find another restaurant for the summer. "Ca L'avi is a small facility on the beach of Can Toni in Cunit. The weekday menu (start, main and dessert) costs around 12 euros, although drinks are not included. Although the employees do not speak much English, they try to help as much as possible and they have recently translated the menu into English (they speak excellent French when that helps). Tapas range from a plate of shells for 6 euros (there were 38 on my last plate I counted) to xipirons (tiny whole deep fried babysquid that sound a little rough, but taste heavenly) large platelets of mussels (Cloïsses), to the more expensive but delicious red shrimps. All are generous portions and my son and I like to share a plate of mussels and a salad for a light lunch. If you want to eat fish, it will cost you more and depends on size, so it is always worth asking how big the portions are / how much they cost. The decor is slightly cheesy Fischer style, but charming all the same. This is a really popular restaurant with locals throughout the year and it is worth booking in advance if you want to go on the weekend. If you love fresh seafood, this should be on your list!"
