"I had beef tartare as starter, cod for main. The cod dish was great a nice piece of fish, with enough sides, so no extras were needed. The beef tartare was OK, although I would have preferred some more taste and smaller minces. Service was great and fast."

"Sadly the breakfast was not as a reminder, the service was slow, my coffee order was forgotten about and I had to remind them after 15 minutes that I was still waiting for a latte, the food wasn’t that fresh and I picked up a piece of toast from the basket that had mould on the side, serving the crusts of bread for the French toast also. I don’t think I’ll be returning for the Firmans breakfast."

"Great chips, delicious fishcakes, nice fish. Slightly stale bread buns. Unlimited sachets of mayo and sauces which is unusual and a nice touch."

"Had the loveliest night at this bistro during TT week. The staff are amazing. They are attentive and friendly and provide a service that is second to none. The food was utterly gorgeous and the whole night was just perfect."

"Dreadful. The tea was cold and tasteless. One of the people serving was chewing gum. We were sat near the entrance to the kitchen and every time the kitchen door opened there were horrible stale cooking smells."
