"Very disappointing food today, more than meals bought for a work lunch and all were bad. A grease fest and looked like it was threw together...also my sausage supper was squashed at the bottom of the brown bag..will not be back."

"After a busy day I decided to go and buy fish and pasties for myself and my family. I had food from this takeaway before and it was very nice. However on this occasion I was really disappointed. The fish was swimming in grease and the batter looked very un inviting. The pasties had been thrown into the packaging together and when I opened the paper they simply fell apart. One of the pasties had bits of black batter on it. There were large chunks of onion in the pasties. I returned to the shop and complained and they offered to cook new food for me however I declined and got a refund instead. A very bad experience"

"Soo expensive to play we were mid week )the green fees have certainly risen in the past few years ! We were told to go online as it was a cheaper option so £100 dropped to £90 each !! No spare locker for guests...so we left a bag with the pro for safe keeping . We really enjoyed our golf a good variety of holes although the fairways were poor the greens were brilliant ! Next time we will try play in an open competition for a cheaper option , it was well played that day with Americans French but we had no hold ups nor slow play !"

"Called in for a coffee and a pork herb sausage roll. While the restaurant wasn’t overly busy, most tables were occupied and no queue at the counter. I placed my order and took my seat. I waited minutes for my sausage roll to...arrive, which was very tasty, however no sign of the coffee. I asked a member of the floor staff as to when I could expect it, to be told there was a queue for the coffee and he didn’t know how long it would be. I told him to cancel it and get me a glass of water…it never appeared. After finishing my food I got a refund for my coffee and left…for good. I won’t be back. There were length of staff working but seemingly little organization. I would hate to see this place on a busy day. I’m summary, great food let down by woeful service. There are plenty of other coffee shops in Newcastle where I will be taking my custom in future. Sorry Mauds, I won’t be back."

"Eight of us turned up for Saturday brunch and after a brief wait for a table we enjoyed delicious food with great service which was quick and friendly despite there being an obvious pressure on the staff who were flat out serving and preparing. We also enjoyed browsing the gift items for sale."
