"We had called into this place for a drink the day before. We found the menu, staff and view very pleasant so decided to return the next day for food. Got a seat outside on the balcony. Wonderful view of the sea. We opted for a tuna salad to share., bbq'd chicken on a skewer. The salad was fantastic, the chicken was the best we have tasted in a v long time. We didnt realise that the chicken also included both chips and salad so we ended up with two salads. We took one home with us. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. 1 huge salad starter, 1 bbq'd chicken main enough for 2 people, 2 beers n two red wines 33 euros. Great quality food and at a very reasonable price. Recommended."

"On avait juste envie d'un café et d'un dessert: résultat 12 euros pour 2 cafés insipides ( les moins bons qu'on ait eus à Madère), un gâteau maison (on a vu les mêmes en grande surface !!) et 3 boules de glace. Le tout servi sans un sourire. Il y a tant de super endroits et de gens sympas sur l'île qu'il vaut mieux ne pas s'arrêter là."

"Had a late lunch looking out to sea on the terrace. The fish soup was the best I had during our 10 day stay on the island. The plain cooked espada was also very good and came with a good selection of vegetables although I'm not sure we needed rice and potatoes.Thoroughly recommended."
