"This is swapping over from an accidental post on my wife's account. Having endured the excessive cost and mediocre fayre of Morat/Murten (my next review... , we looked for a variety of reasonably priced vegetarian food. Restaurant de La Gare was recommended and didn't disappoint. Food and service was very pleasant, and the terrace was completely shaded by vines. There are additional tables away from the terrace, but we were happy under the shade. Our guests commented that their meat and fish meals were very good. 4 x mains, decent bottle of wine, and coffee Euro145, which for Switzerland isn't bad."

"Nice restaurant , friendly staff , nice menu with very little choice, we had vegetarian guest who had a hard choice, we had menu du jour chicken wings which were nice but a poor menu for a above pricy restaurant."
