"The family team who own this restaurant are the most beaming, helpful and welcoming people you can imagine. We speak little French and were given menus in both languages and helped with all aspects of getting to the restaurant, ordering and finding our way home in the safest way possible. An excellent red wine was suggested when we asked for advice. Our food was absolutely delicious and the serves extremely generous. Try the 'Violet' flavour of ice-cream, a real treat! And ask about the legend behind the money pinned to the wooden ceiling. We could not have had a more all-round lovely experience. There are wood-oven pizzas available but we did not order this for our meal and my son wishes he could have gone back the next day to try one as they looked superb! Unfortunately we were only in the region for that day."
