"Well went to the golden fleece for a birthday. My son had pizza it was that oily he wiped it off with tissue. My son and law and I had salt and pepper squid and for $22 not worth it the birthday girl had Sirloin steak 2 mushrooms and mashed potato the value of $36 not worth it. 1 had snitzel and was happy. My 2cd daughter had chicken which she did not eat much off mainly too dry. But the children's meals were great and the service was good. I must admit we had a 50 minute waiting time."

"Enjoyable. A bit slow to get welcomed in when we arrived, but once we got someone's attention it was fine.Great range of craft beers in bottles, plus 8 or 9 SA craft beers on tap.Food was delicious. Wagyu burger very tasty in spite of some other reviews here. I do agree that burger on wooden paddle is annoying, but fits the hipster theme. Parma also very nice. Fish of the day (Hake) looked good too. Decent size serves at very reasonable prices.I'll be going back next time we are in Gawler."

"They were there twice recently on birthdays. poor service. both of them were some meal times over an hour too late. they don't complain. the woman is so rude, she has not even the effort to check with the kitchen to follow it. food overboiled this was a fantastic hotel earlier, but does not even deserve a star rating. we will not return. better competition with friendly, caring employees elsewhere. waste of money"

"Seven of us had dinner last night at Asian Central for the first time and we were very impressed. We shared four entrees and six mains so that we could experience a wide range of the menu. Everything we tried was delicious and inexpensive. I'm not sure how previous reviewers could be negative about the service! People need to book and can't expect to walk in to an available table. The place was packed but the staff were still attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Our meals were served in a timely manner and without any issues at all. We will all definitely be back and will recommend to our friends. It's great to have a decent Asian restaurant so close to the Barossa."
