"I have celebrated my birthday here with a small group and all have convinced the restaurant completely!The facility in the main room is appealing modern, a nice touch are the photos from “old times”. a smoked room is also available at the moment.The service was very warm and personal.The card is not overfated and offers an authentic Spanish offer (additionally some Italian dishes are offered) at (mainly) cold dishes, salads and fish and meat dishes. the kitchen is excellent, I can recommend all the canine dishes that boquerones and the oktopus from the grill!So in gelsenkirchen, who is looking for a Spanish restaurant (and not tapasbar), is right here!"

"We were a party of five who were searching for excellent German food...and we were not disappointed. There is plenty of free parking, and their is a view of the lake from inside the restaurant. The restaurant is very modern with its seating and features. The menu will meet anyone's dietary wishes. We tried several appetizers...all excellent...and ordered veal and fish dishes. The wine list was very large...we were too full to even consider desserts!! The service was very good! Certainly a place we can recommend. The prices are close to being fine dining prices, but it would be possible to find items to order that would fit a moderate budget."

"... nichts richtig schlecht, aber auch nichts perfekt.Waren zu zweit mit Gutscheinbuch dort, um die Tapasplatte mit verschiedenen Tapas zu testen.Ich habe nach dem Konzept gefragt, das mir auch erklärt wurde - Tapas, Meze, je nach regionaler Herkunft, von allem etwas, was sich ja auch nicht scharf abgrenzen ließe.Ich kenne und liebe Tapas, nach diversen Spanien- und Kanaren-Urlauben. Meze habe ich in einem spezialisierten griechischen Restaurant getestet und auch schon nette Tapas-Möglichkeiten im Ruhrpott entdeckt.Entsprechend groß war auch meine Vorfreude und Erwartung.Inhaber und Bedienung waren sehr nett - auch die Möglichkeit, die vorgeschlagenen Tapas, je nach Vorlieben zu tauschen, war sehr aufmerksam und kundenfreundlich.Das Ambiente war ganz hübsch - hier hat man sich Mühe gegeben, wenn auch vom Konzept her nicht absolut stimmig (z.B. Flasche irischen Whiskys als Dekoelement).Die Qualität und der Geschmack der Speisen empfand ich unterschiedlich gut gelungen - das Meiste war lecker, nichts unangenehm. Die Tortilla schmeckte authentisch und war lecker, ebenso die weiteren selbst hergestellten Speisen (Gazpacho, Datteln/ Backpflaumen mit Speck, Hackfleischbällchen, Bratpaprika). Das Brot war trocken, nicht geröstet, Aioli lecker, gefüllte Kirschtomaten und gefüllte Paprika in Öl hatten die Anmutung, als ob beim griechischen Marktstand erworben - das wäre selbst gefüllt wohl besser gegangen. Die Oliven waren gut, wenn auch nicht außergewöhnlich, der Käse recht beliebig und der Schinken konnte mich im Vergleich mit diversen Iberico-Schinken in Spanien nicht recht überzeugen - den Geschmack der Sardinen habe ich erfolgreich verdrängt. Dafür habe ich mich wiederum über die "Schrumpelkartöffelchen" gefreut - dazu eine Mojo Verde und ich wäre selig gewesen.Fazit:Ich werde evtl. nochmal dorthin, um weitere Gerichte zu probieren. Mit Gutschein kann man das gut machen - zum regulären Preis hätte mir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gepasst.Als Inhaber würde ich die Auswahl von über 40 Tapas / Meze reduzieren und diese dann perfekt selbst zubereiten, bzw. ergänzend nur hochwertige, authentische Produkte hinzukaufen."

"Today we have come to this really recommended restaurant by chance and were very satisfied. The food was very delicious, the service super and really very friendly and we also sat very nice outside on the terrace. We can recommend the restaurant every day!!!!!"

"I've been to a lot of buffets in my life and this one saved me as I was stuck in Gelsenkirchen all week and there is only a BK in the area (which is also good). This restaurant has an adequate buffet, but sadly no Mongolian cook to order grill until certain times (not sure). The lunch was only 9 bucks during weekdays. They have not as many meat types as you might get in a large city, but they have more fruit and dessert types than you'd expect. They also have peanuts as garnish and a chocolate fountain for dessert. I ate more shrimp than I have in my entire life here. I ate here 5 days out of my 7 day trip. Just watch what they put out fresh and you've got an excellent cheap, fresh lunch. The staff is nice but I was scolded on my first visit for trying to pay separately from the rest of my group. They have a split check fee of 1,50 I think. But they graced me that day and from then on, I just went alone. The clientele is funny weekday brunch is the senior citizen and foreigners buffet (I'm a foreigner too). All you can eat, with all you can eat kiwi and mango, with really good Jasmine tea.....I feel sorry for myself that I'm back home and have nothing similar in my region of Germany. Note, weekends and holidays the prices go way up, as with all buffets. TIP the waiters, they deserve it."

"It started crying. there were no dry weeping. it went on to the main dish: my fish ( salmon steak) was dead, my garnel dry and the stock fish was really bad. and everywhere, the paprika was sour inlaid, which was dressed on the bratkartoffels. bratkartoffeln were therefore also mad so I won't go there anymore. Sorry, really bad and still paid money. I'm not pinching, but that was the bottom drawer!"
