"We stayed at the Quality Inn next door and this place was recommended. We were thinking 'yeah right ', but it was. A lovely family style restaurant (with a back room that yo couldn 't see from the store front). Lots of locals eating. We had a special fish platter and the boys ate pork steak. Everyone was happy. They also had lovey dessert options. The staff was very friendly."

"One of the most impressive views from a restaurant 's terrace in the north of Portugal, located directly on the banks of the River Douro. But it is not only the view it is the food, especially the fish and the Mirandela beef (that I tasted both) for which Casa Lindo is famous. Snr. Manuel and his son Pedro are taking care of the service in a very personal way. Recently I had for the first time Bacalhão which is as well one of the typical dishes and it was very tasty, too. I recommend the house whine, which is a special Vinho Verde called Alvarinho. There is a cycle path of almost 12 kms that leads you directly from the Ribeira of Oporto to Gondomar always along the river."
