"This very autentic restaurant has convinced me completely! the Portuguese fischerambiente, the nice service and the exceptional good eating to fair travel are simply the hammer. the restaurant is very clean and is located in the darmstädter castle. so even if they want to eat outside, they have a nice environment and no disturbing noise. because I am not a fish lover, my favourite dish is that huh there (I have not eaten such a good huh). instead of pommes, they should order the chips that are a little fat, but really good to the straight fit (these are not kartoffel chips, but crab chips or something similar). so if they are in the big city and want to eat nicely in the evening, there is no better place than the house of the roomman."

"This restaurant is still unknown in Groß-Umstadt, but definitiw a visit worth! we found it only by coincidence because it is very inconspicuous from outside, but very nicely decorated inside. I ate a psteak with mushrooms and roast potatoes. as an appetizer there was aioli with brot. (here we have as much blood as we wanted! the rumpsteak was perfect. very delicate, well seasoned and super delicious. the bratkartoffeln were also very tasty, but it was a little meat as the cartoffels were fried with speck. the mushrooms were fresh and crisp. I can only recommend visiting this restaurant. the waiter was super nice!"

"The nephew of the homeowner has taken over the restaurant in his own way. it is now called sergio’s the very extensive map in which everyone can find something has become clearer. the quality is still very good. wee and well cooled beer in order. only in spirits you have not learned. the price for a croft is covered with 3.50. for this the exellente espresso with 1.80 is very human. at the weekend you should reserve better because almost constantly booked out."

"Our friends recommended us Gioca as the best Italian restaurant in the area. It is an elegant restaurant, for sure, with white table linen, nice silverware and fancy menue. The service is trying hard to match the high standards. The quality of food and wine was good. All in all it was a nice dinner but in this price-range one would expect it to be sensational which ours wasn't. But they have a potential of being a very good Italian restaurant if they concentrated more on the essence of Italian cuisine, and do not overload it too much."
