"I hate to write a negative review but I feel compelled to share my experience with poor customer service at this restaurant, in the hopes that they read this and give it some thought. I went with my parents, ordering 2 kitchen appetizers, 2 kitchen entrees for them and a sushi sashimi platter for myself. Two women were serving the entire dining room, and one sushi chef was making the sushi. Food came out slowly, but eventually entrees arrived. The 2 kitchen entrees were put in front of my parents, with no word about my sushi entree. I assumed it would be coming shortly so didn’t inquire. I waited 15 mins, and one of the women came over to apologize about the slowness. Then 30 mins elapsed, then 45. At this point, my parents had been done eating for awhile, and so I finally went up to the register to inquire. They were confused about my order and didn’t seem to be able to locate our table’s ticket, then when I told them what I ordered, they offered to cancel it. No apology just handed me the bill even though I hadn’t eaten. I was appalled. I decided to finish the little bit of food my mom had on her plate as my dinner and asked if I could have some rice to eat with it. They brought the rice out promptly, but then handed us an updated bill w/ the rice. I am always willing to pay for what I order, but I never got my meal and they wanted to charge me $2.50 for the rice? I was stunned. In any case, the food I did have was tasty but I would be very hesitant to return considering this very strange and frankly, shocking, experience."

"My first visit to Ted's was literally inviting, a cook kept the door open to me. The Ted's Clifton Park interior is spacious, well lit and clean. I placed my order at the counter with suggestions from their most helpful staff. You didn't disappoint. A large fish frit was cooked and served with a Coleslaw side. While I'm not sure what kind of fish they use cod, squid, elbow it was really fried. The fish was warm, tender, fluffy and satisfying. The Koleslaw was cut too fine, but crisp and tasty. Overall a pleasant culinary experience."
