"Nice family owned Cuban restaurant that seemed to be well liked by the locals. We had the sampler appetizer and we were full before finishing that! We shared the grilled fish topped with the shrimp in Creole sauce. Amazing! We left so stuffed for $45. The dinner was like high and restaurants in Latin America. Very fresh. Very well prepared. Service was also good. We were well attended."

"So I finally had the chance to have dinner at Mercato last night with my sister, baby niece, brother in-law and friends. First the cook Emily cooks very well, I had the fish of the day that was grilled to perfection, the dish came with roasted potatoes and sauteed spinach, it was delicious. The owner(Emily´s husband) was so kind and friendly. We had a great bottle of rioja wine. I will definitely return(I hope) to try the pastas. This place is a true hidden gem, which usually are the best places to eat"

"As a Cuban myself, I was taken away by the atmosphere as I walked in to the dining area. Seeing the old photos, black and white of the founders made modern Cuban restaurant look interesting. The place is nice, good location and parking. The food was not great, the meet was not cooked properly, the moro just like sushi rice, sticky and the second time I went, I had shrimp a la jillo and it was terrible. Overall I will not eat in the restaurant. The staff were good but the food was poorly cooked. Not recommended."
