"Find in the idyllic and remote district of Balzenbach. In early 2017, the Watzenhof was taken over by the former chef of the Hotel Fuchsche Mühle in Weinheim. The buildings are already very welcoming and well maintained from the outside. The friendly welcome in the foyer surprised us as well as the self-evident reception of our wardrobe and the personal accompaniment at our reserved table. The tasteful interior wooden box walls, marble floors, fireplace tables with fabric tablecloths and napkins all tailored to the fresh flowers and candles on the table, immediately create a feel-good atmosphere. A guest room and a Bauerstube are also available for celebrations. We sat in the main room overlooking the garden and the beautiful, gentle hills of the Odenwald. The menu offers young, creative cuisine, soups, appetizers, meat, fish dishes and sweet temptations in the form of pleasant desserts. In addition, menus are offered which are available as 3 common and 4 common variants. A fine wine card is also offered. We slept: carrots, ginger soup with shrimps superb salmon starter on salad beet very good Rumpsteak with onions, vegetables and rosemary spices in Sherryjus the delicate pink was boiled on the point Black Tiger Prawns in sweet, acidic sauce on leaf spinach with homemade Tagliatelle paradise. The Odenwälder Spezialität Kochkässchnitzel mit Musik mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat delicious The crowning conclusion was made by a passionate fruit mousse with Schokoperlgraupen and Kekshippe here you want to eat endlessly big! delicious creamy MIlchkaffee makes us happy at the end of the evening, rich and very happy to swim home. Here are absolute professionals at work who understand their craft and love their profession both in the kitchen and in the perfect service felt by many small things. By the way, the Watzenhof also offers accommodation in the hotel area, which we would like to try out soon."

"Watch the (Poros)world go by in this Harbour front taverna.Although there is indoor seating,this is Greece and usually warm enough to eat outdoors.Being waterfront there is good fresh fish,but the standard homecooked food is good,and varies from day to day.The owner is also the Chef(Takis),ant...the waiters have been there for years,Popular with locals,not just tourists;always a good sign."

"Top view. We were there after the Allahopp with 5 children and the waiters were great. The women chose the La-Lisa and landed a hit. A visit to their website had already convinced in advance that we are here. Unfortunately we were uncertain about the reviews on Google. But we didn't stop it and were rewarded."

"The Watzenhof has been known to me since my childhood. He has changed several times and is today a beautiful place to stay. We celebrated many festivals there. Always to our full satisfaction. The small family celebration on 21.06.23 took place this time on the outdoor terrace. Despite the heat of the day, it was in a pleasant place under the open sky in the magnificent greenery The service was attentive, the selected food excellently cooled the selected drinks and very tasty.
