"We have been using this restaurant for many years on our stays in Ross. Usually the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. On this visit the service was poor to say the least, the food was not up to its usual standard...and the keema nan had no meat in it at all. Not sure if there is a new chef or the staff are disgruntled, but we were very disappointed on this occasion. I think their main concern was the party of opposite."

"If they were in another city or city, they don't need me to explain. it is a bunny, everyone is the same, toilets above, tables and chairs to sit and eat or drink. ask the person behind the bar about what they want, partly with their then they will deliver the said things, job done. generally clean, neat and personal courtesy."

"My husband and I came here yesterday for his birthday..food was absolutely amazing we had 3 coursers and all to a very high standard Lee's customer service was great and couldn't do enough for us can't wait to come back"

"No complaints on the fish- though the chips were quite greedy and not nice- left a horrible feeling and taste in my mouth. But I saw them drop a frozen sausage, picked it off the floor, then chucked it in the fryer. I'm afraid that is a big no no!"

"Booked a table at short notice. Warm reception from staff. Chose a table in restaurant area. Very chilly with the door open. A few other tables taken. Starters were good. Beetroot platter for my partner was lovely, my Cauliflower Cheese soup was good. Mains were a disappointment. My sole and “punched” potatoes was mediocre, the potatoes overcooked, almost black. My partners duck was overcooked and very dry. The Cassoulet was tasteless, and again overcooked. Side order of chips were overcooked again, looked reheated. Didn’t stop for puddings. Service was good, would prefer if staff wore masks."

"As a simple, country inn The Temple Bar cannot be recommended too highly. My wife and I stayed for four nights, Our room, the Hay on Wye, was clean and comfortable. The food was in quality well above standard pub food, and the beer was excellently kept. Gino, the landlord, went out of his way to be helpful and welcoming, as did all the rest of the staff. We'd love to come again. It's a shame we live a long way away."

"Wow! What a great evening. Came where on a whim. Three great courses garlic mushrooms, battered Brie, two burgers, lemon roulade, chocolate fudge cake both with ice cream. Lovely wine. Excellent service, Execellent value, everything was super tasty! Our new favourite in Herefordshire!"

"Not very good. We all felt unwell after eating chips. A 2 year old was up from 2am vomiting, being sick every hour, and we had to call emergency services. A 6 year old felt unwell. A pregnant lady was sick And I felt unwell (adult). This is not the first time I've felt unwell from this chippy."
